Physically retains particles suspended in the water, such as oxides of the pipes, small sediment or sand so that water runs clear of impurities.

Filter is the only piece of Irisana EcoShower IR 15 to be changed by use. The time to replace the filter depends on the type of water and how it is used.
It is advisable to change when we perceive that the water flow is reduced or when the filter changes from the original white to dark brown that means too full of rust and sediment particles to perform its function properly.
